We’ve launched the **LA Fire Emergency Fund** to provide critical financial support for CF families, helping them access essential items such as air purifiers, food, and temporary lodging. This initiative empowers our community to protect their health and live proudly, even in the face of unprecedented challenges.

When applying for assistance through the LA Fire Emergency Fund, clients can now choose between:

This program provides a one-time grant to individuals living with cystic fibrosis or their caregivers to assist with time-sensitive needs during the LA fires and the immediate aftermath. Grants are distributed to clients via PayPal or Zelle, ensuring funds are available for immediate use.
- The patient or dependent must have a confirmed cystic fibrosis diagnosis, verified by a hospital professional.
- Applicants must reside in Los Angeles County or surrounding areas affected by the wildfires.
- A hospital professional (e.g., social worker, doctor, or nurse) must submit a referral describing the client’s financial need due to the fires in combination with their diagnosis. Please direct your hospital worker to the link below to submit a referral on your behalf.
- Once a referral is received, the client will be sent an application link for the program.
